How to Play "liMOusIne" by Bring Me The Horizon on Guitar

[Introduction]
This part has pretty basic repetitive patterns on the A#-, F-, and A#-strings.

Work on playing the sequence legato and even.
On the A# string: 3-1-.
Keep the rhythm flowing and glide gently into the next set.
[Verse]
The chorus section presents the use of power chords, mostly on the A# and F strings.

Chord progression is by walking between the 14th and 10th frets.
Do 14-14-14 to 10-10-10 shifting.
Keep the changes in time with your picking hand.
[Pre Chorus – Rhythm]

Keep on playing power chords with an emphasis on the downstrokes.
Sounds like the verse played through but with more emphasis at the 12th and 13th frets.
Ensure chords are clean and transitions are at the section transitions.
[Pre Chorus - Lead]

By and large, the higher notes are the leader on the C and G strings.
The keynote is around the eighth and tenth frets.
Play lightly to make a contrast sonically to the melodic line against the rhythm section.
[Chorus]

The chorus repeats the intro pattern, but just played more energetic.
Emphasize the dynamics by playing a bit louder and more intensely.
Make sure your strum pattern is nice and tight in the right spots.
[Intro Verse]

This part is a short melodic interlude. It is centered around the 8th and 10th frets.
Keep the picking light and the transitions smooth.
[Verse 2]
Make the power chords audible. Again, similar to the first verse.

Maintain precisely the same energy and rhythm as the first verse.
[Pre Chorus - Rhythm and Lead]

Pre-chorus and repeat with rhythm and lead parts added.
Make sure the lead notes are sympathetic to the rhythm section.
[Bridge]

This section switches between 3rd and open positions on the A# and F strings.
Notice the clarity of the transitions and consistency in rhythm retention.
[Build Up]

The crescendo section does carry out a lot of wide and fast in-between notes.
Use the 1-0-8-7-0 sequence to apply in playing.
Push the crescendo leading to it with a slow increase in intensity.
[Breakdown]

Jerky, accented rhythms give contrast to the breakbeat part.
Use very precise, staccato picking towards a focus on rhythm.
1b articulation add-on twists.
[Common Mistakes]
Power chords should be clean and free of noises caused by unwanted string noise.

Do things at a steady time of day, especially during transitions.
Make sure melodic lead parts are as melodic and smooth as possible.
[General Tips]

Apply a distortion or overdrive pedal for a heavier sound.
Work on each part of the piece slowly, and then gradually work up the tempo.
Practice synchronizing your hands so that what you play comes out clean and accurate.
