True Men Don't Kill Coyotes Bass

(ver. 3)
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Instrument:bass
Tuning:standard(gdae)

I've got the accurate intro, which takes a lot of practice to
perfect, but you'll get there. The other tabs were quite
sweet so i decided to do my own.

intro/outro:
   s p s p s p p p p pp p p p
g--------9-----7~-----0--0--2-2---
d----9-------9------0---0-------2
a--7--x7--x7--------------------------------
e-(0)-------------------------------------------

you can play the last open notes and the 2s(G and A)
on the A and D string if you want, but if you listen to the
CD, they are clearly popped not slapped. The part where
an E is played, is played very fast. Listen to the record for
timing. The last note played in the riff is a very short, stubby
note.

verses
(verse riff 1)
g---------------------------
d--2---2-2-----(2)------
a---------------------------
e----0------0~-----0-3b.

repeat without the high E note until

g-----------------------------------------
d----------------------------------------
e--2-x-22-(0)-2-0--2-x-22-0-2/5
a-----------------------------------------
then play the first verse riff again
only playing the high E notes on the first time
and slide up to them from the first fret.
Chorus
g---------------------------------------------------------
d---------------------------------------------------------
a-2-0-2-0-20-2-0-2-0-20-2/5-3-5-3-53-(7\0)
e---------------------------------------------------------

repeat these till the end of the song, fairly monotonous.
you'd think there'd be variations but i checked and they
consist only of open E notes being replaced by slap mutes.
