(ver. 1)
Kurt Vile
RUNNER UPS BY KURT VILE
OFF OF "SMOKE RING FOR MY HALO"
2011 MATADOR RECORDS

**TUNING**
low to high

F#-B-B-F#-A#-D#

tune the high E down half a step to D#. tune the B down half a step to A#. tune the G
down half a step to F#. tune the D down one and a half steps to B. tune the A up a whole
step to B. tune the E up a whole step to F#.
not sure if this tuning is correct. it sounds pretty sweet though either way as an open tuning

this song is incredible, here is my attempt at tabbing what i figured out the other day.

he plays this sort of variation of the riff sometimes

E-----------------------------------------------------------|

the song ends with this
E-----------0-----------------|
B-3h5-------------5-----------|
G-------0-------------0-------|
D-0-----------0---------------|
A-----------------------------|
E-----------------------------|

the second guitar is in standard tuning i believe and has a CAPO on the 6th fret

this part is most likely very wrong but it's just an idea of how it goes. he probably
does a lot more and hammers on/pulls off a lot on the A or D on the 2nd fret to open.

E---------------------------3-----------------------------|
B------1~-------1~-----3/5------3~-3\1------1-------------|
G-0h2-----0h2---------------------------2-----------------|
D---------------------------------------------------------|
A---------------------------------------------------------|
E---------------------------------------------------------|

sorry for the cr*p tab. if anyone can get anything better correct this please!
