Drink In My Hand Tabs

(ver. 1)
Eric Church
This is what I have for the inrto guitar chord voicings.
Feel free to make any corrections.

Open G tuning, used by Keith Richards in alot of Rolling Stones songs
and used quite a bit by the Black Crows.

G chord- all open strings-6th string optional.
Keith Richards actually didn't have the 6th string on his guitar.
1-D
2-B
3-G
4-D
5-G
6-D

C chord-use first finger to barre across fretboard.
1-5th fret (stumming this string is optional)
2-5th fret
3-5th fret
4-5th fret
5-5th fret
6-X

Am chord-still holding all strings down with first finger at fret 5,
use 3rd finger to fret 4th string at 7th fret.

1-X (if you strum the G here it will turn the chord into a Minor 7)
2-5th fret
3-5th fret
4-7th fret (third finger)
5-5th fret
6-X

F chord-now you are just going to add the second finger on the second string
at the 6th fret. (try to hammer on w/ 2nd and 3rd fingers from the C to F)

1-5th fret
2-6th fret (second finger)
3-5th fret
4-7th fret (third finger)
5-5th fret
6-X

Alternate Am, which might sound better in the Chorus

1-X
2-1st fret (first finger)
3-2nd fret (fourth finger)
4-2nd fret (third finger)
5-2nd fret (second finger)
6-X

That's what I have anyway. Have fun with this and toggle around with the chords to get the right groove.
Again, when changing from the C to the F, try to hammer-on the F to get the right feel.
Refer to previous tabs for the chord changes.
