Unwinding Cable Car Tabs

(ver. 3)

UNWINDING CABLE CAR
ANBERLIN
E STANDARD

This is one of the easiest songs on Earth to play, so it was a natural choice for my
tab. Yes, the beginning could be troubling when keeping the beat, but it’s REALLY easy.

Intro:

E|--0-------0-------0-------0-----------------------------|
B|----4---4---4---4---4---4---4---4-----------------------|
G|------6-------6-------6-------6-------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------------------|
A|--------------------------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------------|

The melody on the G-string in the next bar repeats multiple times throughout the song,
the actual hammer-on and pull-off are optional. I prefer to do it in the chorus to make
more complex.

E|--------------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------------|
G|-------*8h9p8-6-------------------------9-8-6---9-8-6---|
D|----6-----------9----------11------9----------9-------9-|
A|--4----------------------9-------7----------------------|
E|-----------------------7-------5------------------------|

Chords for pre-verses and verses:

G|--6-- G|--4-- G|--2--|
D|--6-- x4 D|--4-- x12 D|--2--| x8
A|--4-- A|--2-- A|--0--|

Lead guitar for pre-verses:

E|--------------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------------|
G|--9-8-6-------------------------------------------------|
D|--------9-9----2-4/6---2-4/6----------------------------|
A|-----------------------------4--------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------------|

Do that twice.
Verse lead guitar is just:

E|--------------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------------|
G|--------------------------------------------------------|
D|--2-4/6----2-4/6----------------------------------------|
A|-----------------4--------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------------|

The chorus consists of the exact same chords that I listed earlier. The lead guitar plays:

E|--------------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------------|
G|--9-8-6-------------------------------------------------|
D|--------9---2-4/6---2-4/6-------------------------------|
A|--------------------------4-----------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------------|

Now, for the bridge and closing of the song:

E|-------0-----0-----0-----0-----2-----2-----2-----2------|
B|-----0-----0-----0-----0-----0-----0-----0-----0--------|
G|---2-----2-----2-----2-----2-----2-----2-----2----------|
D|--------------------------------------------------------|
A|--------------------------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------------|

E|-------0-----0-----0-----0-----0-7---0-7---0-7---0-7----|
B|-----0-----0-----0-----0-----4-----4-----4-----4--------|
G|---2-----2-----2-----2----------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------------------|
A|--------------------------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------------|

Thanks for checking it out guys (and gals)! Hope this is an easy tab for you. I know it
for me!
