Modest Mouse - The View Bass

i don't want to sound cocky, but, i don't just 'play' bass
and guitar. i am a musician (in training) and i know music.
I know  scales, chord patters, and all that jazz.
(tho i'm not to crazy about jazz)
i play the tabs i make along with the music, 
checking every note, because i don't want to play the wrong
thing. and yes, i may make mistakes, but they are few.
