This is for Dave’s part only.

This is what you play but to get the echo sound you need a delay pedal.  
If you don’t have one, you can double up the * notes to mimic the sound.


INTRO:

Hammer down the notes WITHOUT the * 
Use your strumming hand to tap the notes WITH the * 
I use my index finger like a bar chord to hammer down on the DAD strings and
hammer onto the G string with my middle finger.  
I recommend using your middle finger on your strumming hand to tap the * notes.
