PROPS GO TO: Adam Fisher
Hey everybody. I got annoyed because no-one has put any good Muse stuff on here. Here is my first attempt at doing this tab lark, so please don't moan at me or I might cry.
The song is made up of three main parts. There is a base part, a lead part and the chords. The chords are well easy, as they are just Em, Am, D and Em again. If you don't know these, ask someone because they are well easy.
Sorry this is so confusing, but it is a well short song, and if you listen to it you will work it out quite quickly.
To put it together: 1 Engine noise ¦ 2 scrapy noise ¦ 3 bass part and lead part one ¦ Intro 4 bass part and lead part 2 ¦ 5 chords ¦ 6 bass ¦ Verse one 7 chords (loud & distorted) ¦ Chorus 8 Bass solo & Base part ¦ bridge one 9 Chords ¦ 10 bass part ¦ Verse two 11 chords (loud & distorted) ¦ Chorus X2 12 bass part and lead part one ¦ outro
Engine Noise: Work it out yourself.
Scrapy noise: You can do this from just running a bar up and down the neck without pushing down properly.
Base part: This goes through hust about the whole song, and is really simple. I have tried to convey a sense of timing, but just listen to it.It's written for a normal guitar, but as you can see it doesn't use the top two strings so you can play it on a base just like that.
¦----------------------------------------------------------- ¦----------------------------------------------------------- ¦---------------------------------------2-------------2----- ¦---------2-------------2-------------3-----3-------3-----3- ¦-------2-----2-------2-----2----0-0-----------0-0---------- ¦--0-0------------0-0---------------------------------------
¦--------------------------------------------------- ¦--------------------------------------------------- ¦-----------------------2--------------------------- ¦-------1-4---1-------3-----3-----------2----------- ¦--2-2------------0-0-----------------2-----2------- ¦--------------------------------0-0-----------0----
Lead part one
This is really repetitive
¦--------------------------------------------------- ¦--8--7----8--7----8----8--7----8--7----8----8--7--- ¦--------------------------------------------------- ¦--------------------------------------------------- ¦--------------------------------------------------- ¦---------------------------------------------------
¦--------------------------------------------------- ¦--8--7----8----8--7----8--7----8------------------- ¦--------------------------------------------------- ¦--------------------------------------------------- ¦--------------------------------------------------- ¦---------------------------------------------------
Between lead part one ther is a litle fill that uses top E string, 5th fret. As I say, listen to the song.
Lead part two:
