And then at 05:23 they just oscillate their delay pedals while rapidly strumming the open strings.
If you don't know how: Turn the feedback/repeat up and mess around with the time- and/or mix knob.
Any delay(preferably an*log) should work.

Eventually, Guitar 2 rapidly strums a regular E chord.
Guitar 1, meanwhile, goes crazy while strumming random chords high up the fret board.

They go on like that until about 07:30 when the tempo starts to drop.

Both guitars then play different variations of an E Chord.
I think Guitar 1 plays it on the 7th fret, while Guitar 2 plays the open E chord.

Then, (08:34) both play this chord over and over, except a lot slower than before:
Guitar 1 goes crazy every now and then.

This is when it's really slow. 
Sometimes, between the chords, both guitarists slide up and down,
making a bunch of noise high on the fret board. Use pick slides and stuff as well.
