Love Is A Bitch Chords

(ver. 1)
Two Feet
How to play. Tutorial.

The song "Love Is A b**ch" by Two Feet can be divided into two main parts for learning:
the solo intro (which is also used after the first verse) and the chords played during the verse.
Here's how you can play each part:

Solo Intro/Post-First Verse Solo

The solo is based on the minor pentatonic scale. Here's a step-by-step guide to
playing the intro and solo:

    First Phrase:
Start on the 7th fret of the D string (D7) using your third finger.
Move to the 5th fret of the G string (G5) with your first finger.
Then, play the 7th fret on the G string (G7) with your third finger,
adding a semitone bend up and down.

    Second Phrase:
Play D7, G5, then slide from G7 to G9 quickly (you're sliding with the third finger,
starting the slide from the 7th fret but quickly moving to the 9th
so the initial note is almost unheard).
Return to D7, then G5 with some vibrato.

    Ending of Solo:
Slide from G7 to G9 with your second finger
(this quick slide makes the initial note almost inaudible).
Play B8 with your first finger, then B10 with a quick hammer-on from B8
(again, very fast so B8 is barely heard).
Play B8 alone, slide from G7 to G9 (quickly),
play G7, then G5, and finish with a full-tone bend on G7 pulling off to G5.
        End with D7 played twice.

Verse Chords

The verse progression is A minor, D minor, F, and G. Here's how to play it:

A Minor: Use a barre chord shape at the 5th fret with your first finger across all strings,
third finger on A7 (7th fret of the A string), and pinky on D7. Play the root note with your
thumb and the D, G, and B strings with your index, middle, and ring fingers, making
it staccato by releasing the pressure with your fretting hand.

D Minor: Shift your first finger to bar the 5th fret starting from the A string, place your
second finger on B6, third finger on D7, and pinky on G7.
The right-hand technique remains the same.

F: Bar the entire 1st fret, place your second finger on G2, third finger on A3, and pinky on D3.
Move this shape up two frets to transition to G.

Play through the progression, focusing on the 6/8 feel of the song, emphasizing the staccato
nature in the A minor and D minor chords, and transitioning smoothly between F and G.

This comprehensive breakdown should help you capture the essence of "Love Is A b**ch"
by Two Feet. Practice each part slowly, focusing on the nuances of the solo's bends and slides,
as well as the staccato and rhythm in the chord progression.
