Honky Tonk U Chords

(ver. 1)
Toby Keith
This is a good one for all you rhythm players:
You have to listen to get it right. If you give a quick lift and play open strings
the D and Cadd9 in the intro and the E and D on the outro it sounds pretty good, to me atleast.
Standard Tuning

Intro strumming is D, Cadd9, G, D

Verse 1
        D Cadd9 G D
My Grandmother owned a night club on the Arkansas Oklahoma line
                                                                    A7
Mama put me on a Greyhound and I went to stay with her in the summertime
    G Cadd9 G
       D
I'd box up those empty longnecks and stack 'em in the back and make a hand
                                           Cadd9 G
D
Then at night she'd let me sneak out of the kitchen and sit in with the band

Verse 2
                                      Cadd9 G
 D
Yes I have sacked some quartebacks and broke my share of bones along the way
                                                          A7
I knew it wouldn't last forever semi-pro always means semi-payed
  G Cadd9 G
         D
I started climbin' drillin' rigs I'm oil field trash and proud as I can be
                                   Cadd9 G D
