Last Nite Bass

(ver. 2)
Strokes

Guitar 1

e -------------
b -------------
g --5555-5555--
d --5555-5555--
a --3333-3333--
e -------------
    dddd uudud

this should sound like "jing-jing-jing-jing-jing-ba-jing-ba-jing", really it
makes sense.

Okay that is played TWICE firstly on it's own then twice with drums and
guitar 2 comes
in after that with :

Guitar 2

e-----------------------
b-----------------------
g-----------------------
d--33333333--55555555---
a--33333333--55555555---
e--11111111--33333333---

Guitar 2 plays this four times, with the bass coming in on the third time
with :

g-------------------
d-------------------
a-------------------
e--1-1-1-1--3-3-3-3-

then it goes into the main verse part (NB guitar 1 plays it's part from the
start
up until the verse)

MAIN VERSE PART

Bass
g-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
d--------------------------------------------------------5--(let ring)---5-2-----2-0--
a--3---3-0-3-0--------3---3-0-3-0-------5---5-0-5-0-----------------------------------
e----0------------------0-----------------0-------------------------------------------

CHORUS PART

The chorus part is simply the first bit

g ---------------------------
d ---------------------------
a ---------------------------
e ---1-1-1-1---3-3-3-3-------

SOLO PART

Bass
g---------------------------------------------------------------------------
d----------------------------------------------------5---5-0-5---5---5-0-5--
a--3---3-0-3---3---3-0-3---5---5-0-5---5---5-0-5-------0-----------0--------
e----0-----------0-----------0-----------0----------------------------------

Okay basically there are 3 parts, one solo, a few brief rests here and there
but really
there is FEKK ALL to it. If you just learn these parts and put them in the
right places
that is all that is to it.

Okay that's it! it's very easy to play. i have noticed a distinct lack of
Strokes tabs
anywhere so if u like 'em and play, then get tabbing ! hopefully i'll have
more on the
way soon - cheers ! Crippy
