                Bug

I've been playing Bug since I got the Tom and Trey Demo Tape.
This version is different from their live one. It requires mucho
sustain. This is how I get the Trey-esque sustain for this song:
Ross Compressor->TS9 (Light Crunch)->Ibanez DMD2000 Delay (.33ms).
The light delay gives each note a searing/sonic sound. It also helps
to sustain the notes.

Problems: I'm having problems trying to figure out the EXACT chords to
the chorus. Also, I don't know the exact words used in the chorus.
Someone is saying something ("Don't need it) in harmony with "It
doesn't matter.". All summer it sounded like "Der-E-ned."

Intro:
Use distorition to get some feedback. Turn on your Univibe
to get the rotation sound and then whip it off before going to
the verse chords

     D
E---------------------------------------------|
B---------------------------------------------|
G----7----------------------------------------|
D---------------------------------------------|
A----5----------------------------------------|
E---------------------------------------------|

Verse:
Whether Trey plays these notes as power chords or not is debateable.
You can either play them this way or just play the notes on G string.

   F# F# E D E C F# G C A
E----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G--11---11--/--9--/--7--/--9--/--5----------11--/--12------------16--/--14---|
D----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A--9----9---/--7--/--5--/--7--/--3----------9---/--10------------14--/--12---|
E----------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Pre-Chorus:
Hold this note for 8 measures and then add the F on the high E string during the
eighth measure.

      D F
E---------------(22)--------------------------|
B---------------------------------------------|
G-----19--------------------------------------|
D---------------------------------------------|
A-----17--------------------------------------|
E---------------------------------------------|

Pre-Chorus (Alternative):
Hold the first chord then, instead of adding the F on the high E, play this.

    D C B A
E---------------------------------------------|
B---------------------------------------------|
G---19---17---16---14-------------------------|
D---------------------------------------------|
A---17---15---14---12-------------------------|
E---------------------------------------------|

Chorus:
If you have another TS9 (or distortion channel), turn it on and
belt out these three chords.

   F C G
E--------------------------------------------|
B--------------------------------------------|
G-------5------------------------------------|
D--3----5----5-------------------------------|
A--3----3----5-------------------------------|
E--1---------3-------------------------------|

Lyrics:

Verse 1:

There've been times that I've wondered
And times that I don't
Concepts I'll ponder
And concepts I won't ever see
God is not one of these
Former or latter
Which did you think I meant
It doesn't matter to me

Chorus:

Bug
It doesn't matter
 (Don't need it)
Bug
It doesn't matter
 (Don't need it)
Bug
It doesn't matter

Verse 2:

Gold in my hand
In a country pool
Standing and waving
The rain, wind on the runway
Spending or saving
Credit or death
Which did you think I meant
Nothing I see can be taken from me

Chorus:

Bug
It doesn't matter
  (Don't need it)
Bug
It doesn't matter
  (Don't need it)
Bug
It doesn't matter
