I included an example of a hammer on that might take place in the first chord. 





Phil uses an odd technique for this chord progression. 
He uses his index finger to hit the C in the first chord, then the usual fingering for D7
after that, the G is brought out by using his pinky on the fifth fret.


Any other solos or riffs are improvised in D minor
