I got the idea for this song when I was in the Air Force
 and got a postcard from a girl that had this title on the
front of the card.


As I watched the plane take off from the airport today
My mind drifts back in sadness to the thoughts of yesterday
Two shadows in the night holding onto each other
Giving all the love we could give to one another
It's been a while since I've met someone like you
And I'm not really sure if it's the right thing to do
I'll let my lonely heart guide me through these happy times
And hold onto the only one who'll let me live my rhymes
