In A Sweater Poorly Knit Tabs

(ver. 1)
Mewithoutyou
i'm almost 100% certain that this is the completely correct complete tab of the song.
i included the entire harp part as it would be played on a guitar. it's a bit tricky
it was written on a harp. or maybe a keyboard.
i also included the second guitar parts.
beneath the tabs i put the names of the chords. you can use whatever variations you
but these are the ones they use live.

standard tuning: eadgbe
guitar 1: acoustic
guitar 2: electric

intro:

guitar 1/guitar 2:

just strum/hold out while the third guitar makes a bunch of noise.

---4----------2-----------------
---2----------0-----------------

harp part for guitar:

(we'll call this harp part a)

--17--17--17------17--------------------
|-------------------------------18-20-21-| (x2)
----------------------------------------

--------------------16------------------

21--19--17---17-16----------------17-16------------------16--------------------
--17--17--17---------------------------17------------17---------------17-19-21-
------------------18-----------18------------------16--16----------------------
-------------------------------------------14-16-18-----------14-16-18---------
----------------------16-18-19-----------14-----------------14-----------------
--------------------16---------------------------------------------------------

repeat whole thing, then to...

verse 2:

guitar 1:
(same as verse 1)
--(2)---------0-----------------
--(2)---------0-----------------
|---2----------1-----------------| (x4)
---4--(x8)----2--(x8)-----------
---4----------2-----------------
---2----------x-----------------
   F#m E

guitar 2:

--------------------------------
--------------------------------
|--------------------------------| (x4)
--------------------------------
--------------------------------
-2-(x28)-5-(x4)---0-(x32)-------

he basically just tremolo picks the F# and the E on the low e in sync with the guitar 1
changes, but adds the A really quick right before he goes to E.

repeat chorus.

repeat verse for verse 3. when guitar 1 cuts out halfway through, guitar 2 just keeps
the same thing it was doing.

repeat chorus. then:

outro:

(harp part b)

--16-18-19--------------16-18-19------------14-----------------14-----------------
16--------------------16----------------------------------------------------------

repeat, and back to:

(part a)
21--19--17---17-16----------------------
--17--17--17------17--------------------
|-------------------------------18-20-21-| (x2)

repeat, then:

the bass part keeps playing through, but the melody of the harp is:
(part c)
17-21-16--17-21-16--17-21-16--16-17-16-----------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------17---------------17-19-21-

|-------------------------------18-20-21-| (x2)
----------------------------------------

and back to:

(part b)

------------------------------------17-------------------------------------17-----
----------------------------------18--18---------------------------------18--18---

----------------------------------------------14-16-18-----------14-16-18---------
--16-18-19--------------16-18-19------------14-----------------14-----------------
16--------------------16----------------------------------------------------------

and fade out on harp part a.

ugh. so the full order is:
intro
verse
chorus
verse
chorus
verse
chorus
outro (harp parts b, a, c, a, b, a)

on the chorus when guitar 1 plays the A, he seems to play it the way i tabbed it, but i
it sounds better with the album version to do the barr variation (577655).
if you find any errors, feel free to let me know and i'll fix it
merci.
