All We Are Chords

(ver. 2)
Matt Nathanson
In the chorus, where it says G (barre), A (barre), all you do is make the G barre
chord, then move it up when it says "A(barre)", then go back down the neck to
finish that part of the chrous. It may sound confusing, but it's a lot easier to
play than explain.

Capo on 2nd fret

intro: G A D x2

G A D
I tasted, tasted love so sweet
  G A D
And all of it was lost on me
 G A Bm
Bought and sold like property
 G A
Sugar on my tongue

G A G
I kept falling over
G A D
I kept looking backwards
G A Bm
I went broke believing
      G A
that the simple should be hard

Chorus
      G A D
it's all we are, we are
G(barre) A(barre) D
All we are, we are
G A Bm
Every day is the start
G A
of something beautiful

interlude: G A D x2

same verse chord pattern:

I wasted, wasted love for you
Trading out for something new
Well, it's hard to change the way you lose
When you think you never won

Chorus

G D
And in the end
        Bm A
The words don't matter
G D
And in the end
          Bm A
Nothing stays the same
G D Bm A
In the end the dreams just shatter
G
And fall like rain

Chorus x2
