Note:
The track starts with a sixteenth note rest then plays Fig. 1 for this guitar part and the last note is an  eighth. It then does a whole rest and repeats once more. The third time you play Fig. 1 it is followed by a quarter rest then Fig. 2. The last A played is held for a quarter and a sixteenth then the C is held for an eighth. Hope this helps everyone. Also, the way I play is with the 14th fret on the E instead of 9th on the A in Fig. 1. It feels easier to me.
