E |-----------------------|

Gary Green played a 12 string acoustic on this track, live he is
tuned down a full tone, and then a capo added at the 2nd fret
to bring it back to standard tuning. Presumably having it in a
lower tuning helped take pressure of the guitar neck, or maybe
for other songs in a live set using the acoustic he was in a
dropped tuning of DGCFAD and just took the capo off for those...?

Emadd9                    Asus2
 Sorry to have been ...so much of a bore,
            D               Cmaj7             Emadd9
But, in my own funny way, I find I learn much more,
Emadd9                   Asus2
   I realise ...what you think from your eyes,
              D                Cmaj7             Emadd9
But, in your own funny ways, I find I learn much more!

          D                   Cmaj7                 Emadd9
But, for all that I cared, we could've been miles a - part,
Emadd9                 Asus2
   I understood ...that you never would...

 And so you see ...what happened to me,
           D                    Cmaj7              Emadd9
Since the time when I judged my life in nights and days,
Emadd9               Asus2
   I realised ...that my life was lies,
        D                  Cmaj7        Emadd9
So you see what I mean with all my funny ways!

[Verse 6]
Emadd9 [Then no chords]
Sorry to have been ...so much of a bore,
But, in my own funny ways, I find I learn much more!

[Coda]
     Emadd9        Emadd9        Emadd9            Emadd9
Funny ways, funny ways, funny ways, funny ways------!

------------------------------------------------------------------------

In live versions Garry Green uses this chord sequence in the intro,
and also during Kerry Minnear's vibraphone solo...

    Emadd9        Cmaj7          C#m7b5        Cmaj7
||:  /  /  /  /  |  /  /  /  /  |  /  /  /  / |  /  /  /  / :|| [Repeat]

Emadd9 = 024000   Cmaj7  = x35000   C#m7b5 = x45000
