Drumming Song Chords

(ver. 2)
Florence And The Machine
Drumming Song - Florence and the Machine

Absolutely love this song but there are few tabs around so decided to have
a bash myself.

Note: - There are some slight variations on some of the chords that sound nearly if not
good as the ones below and you can use them to vary the song if you like.

i.e. Dsus2 can easily be Dmaj and Bm7 can change to Bm

- Also there's a B note on the G string (4th fret) that plays underneath a
lot of the song which you can add, particularly to the Cmaj7 and A5 using your pinky if
find it works for you.
- The Em in most of the song is usually 2 loud strikes then some ad lib
palm-muted picking of the 3 base strings
- The bracketed bits are just how I play it but feel free to ignore.

Em (2 loud strikes then palm mute 3 bass strings to the rhythm)
There's a drumming noise inside my head
That starts when you're around

I swear that you could hear it
It makes such an all mighty sound

Em (2 loud strikes then palm mute 3 bass strings to the rhythm)
There's a drumming noise inside my head
That throws me to the ground

I swear that you should hear it
It makes such an all mighty sound

Cmaj7
Louder than sirens
A5
Louder than bells
Cmaj7
Sweeter than heaven
A5
And hotter than hell

Em (2 loud strikes then palm mute 3 bass strings to the rhythm)
I ran to a tower where the church bells chime
I hoped that they would clear my mind

Em (2 loud strikes then palm mute 3 bass strings to the rhythm)
They left a ringing in my ear
But that drum's beating loud and clear

Cmaj7
Louder than sirens
A5
Louder than bells
Cmaj7
Sweeter than heaven
A5
And hotter than hell

Cmaj7
louder than sirens

Louder than bells
A5
Sweeter than heaven

And hotter than hell

Cmaj7
Louder than sirens

Louder than bells
A5
Sweeter than heaven
Em (2 loud strikes then palm mute 3 base...)
And hotter than hell

Em Cmaj7
As I move my feet towards your body
        A5 Cmaj7
I can hear this beat it fills my head up
            Em Cmaj7
And gets louder and louder
                           A5 Cmaj7
It fills my head up and gets louder and louder

Em (1 gentle strum then 2 palm mutes to beat)
I run to the river and dive straight in
Em (1 gentle strum then 2 palm mutes to beat)
I pray that the water will drown out the din

Cmaj7
But as the water fills my mouth
A5
It couldn't wash the echoes out
Cmaj7
But as the water fills my mouth
A5
It couldn't wash the echoes out

Cmaj7
I swallow the sound and it swallows me whole
A5
Till there's nothing left inside my soul
Cmaj7
As empty as that beating drum
A5 Em (2 loud strikes then palm mute 3 base...)
But the sound has just be-gun

Em Cmaj7
As I move my feet towards your body
       A5 Cmaj7
I can hear this beat it fills my head up
           Em Cmaj7
And gets louder and louder
                             A5 Cmaj7
It fills my head up and gets louder and louder
