Call Me Maybe Tabs

(ver. 1)
Enter Shikari
As much as i hate to admit it, i love this cover.
Its good to play because people recognise it too.
Couldn't find a tab, so after hours of studying the video - Here you all go.

Standard tuning,
Guitars 1,2 and Three.

Guitar 1 - Palm Muted - This is the backing throughout the majority of the song.
Its in bars of 8 - Play with or without the G string - whichever you think sounds better.
E|---------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------|
D|---00000000---00000000---00000000---00000000-------------|
G|---00000000---00000000---00000000---00000000-------------|
B|---33333333---33333333---33333333---33333333-------------|
e|---33333333---33333333---33333333---33333333-------------|

Guitar 2 - Comes in after 16 bars. Kinda palm muted/Harmonics

E|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-------12-12-12-12-12-12-9-9-10-10-10-10-10-10--|
D|---------------------------12-12------------------------------------------|
G|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
e|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Cont.
E|-------------------------------------------|
A|----------12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12----------|
D|----12-12----------------------------------|
G|-------------------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------------------| Repeat.
e|-------------------------------------------|
This covers (Every note relates to a word to keep your timing) :
I threw a wish in the well, Don't ask me, I'll never tell I looked to you as it
fell, and now you're in my way I trade my soul for a wish, pennies and dimes for a
kiss I wasn't looking for this, but now you're in my way

When the bridge comes, Guitar 2 changes to the same riff but lower down:
E|----2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-----4-4-4-4-4-4-----2-2-2-2-2-2-----4-4-4-4-4-4------|
A|--------------------4-4-------------1-1-------------4-4------------------|
D|-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
e|-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
Still with guitar 1 in the background - This covers:
Your stare was holdin', Ripped jeans, skin was showin' Hot night, wind was blowin'
Where you think you're going, baby?

Chorus:

Guitar 1 carrys on the backing rythem after the pause...

Guitar 2(Its just power chords- You know, the ones you use to play EVERY Green day song):

E|--2-----4-4----2-2----4-4---------------|
A|--4---4-6-6-1--4-4--4-6-6---------------|
D|--4---6-6-6-3--4-4--6-6-6---------------|
G|------6-----3-------6-------------------|
B|----------------------------------------|
e|----------------------------------------|

(The Rythem backing for this is actually done by Guitar 3 while guitar 1 does some
strange fingertapping which cant be heard - So its not needed.Lets keep it simple
people - Guitar two also changed from using the powerchord at 1 To 6 But they
sound the same.)
3 8
3 8

My favourite bit... The chorus...Outro?

Guitar 1 rythm again.

Guitar 2 straight out of the last chord:
E|--10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-------|
A|--------------------------------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------------------|
G|--------------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------------|
e|--------------------------------------------------------|

Cont...
E|------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|--10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12-----10-10-10-10-10-10-|
D|--------------------------------------------------9-9-------------------|
G|------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|------------------------------------------------------------------------|
e|------------------------------------------------------------------------|

Cont...
E|-----------------------------------------|
A|---------12-12-12-12-12-12-12-12---------|
D|---12-12---------------------------------|
G|-----------------------------------------|
B|-----------------------------------------|
e|-----------------------------------------|

Repeat again and during the third time, Guitar one does something different for once...:

Guitar 1:
     ?
E|----------------------------------|
A|---3------------------------------|
D|---3-----6------12----12----------|
G|---2-----8------14----14----------|
B|---1-----9------14----15----------|
e|----------------------------------|
This bits a bit messy and you can hear him play a few wrong notes, so improvise on
the above. I know the last three bits are right, you work out the rythem.

Repeat the chorus...

Then you get to this bit..
Before you came into my life I missed you so bad I missed you so bad I missed you
so, so bad Before you came into my life I missed you so bad And you should know
that I missed you so, so bad

Which is as follows:
Guitar 2 Plays the chorus power chords,
Guitar 1:
E|----------------------------------|
A|----------------12-12--12-14-10---|
D|----12-12-12-12-14-14--14-16-12---|
G|----14-14-14-14-14-14--14-16-12---|
B|----15-15-14-14-------------------|
e|----------------------------------|

Guitar three harmonics (Slightly like the into to sweet child of mine?):
E|---------------------10----------------------10--|
A|------12----------10-----8-----12----------10----|
D|---12---------12------------12----------12-------|
G|---12------14---------------12-------14----------|
B|--------15------------------------15-------------|
e|-------------------------------------------------|

Emjoy!
