Some Riot Chords

(ver. 2)
Elbow
Really nice song with very emotive lyrics. Note that the G to G# to A to B are
only links from the G# and B and are only played due to sliding your Barre chord
down the fret. I find this song easier to play using the chords with the root
note on the E string rather than switching from barre chords which have thier
root note on the E and A string.

E B x 2

B Abm A Bb B

B Abm G Ab A B
A friend of mine grows his very own brambles
B Abm G Ab A B
They twist all around him until he can't move
B G B
Beautiful quivering shivering shambles
B G B
What is my friend trying to prove

B Abm A Bb B x2

B Abm G Ab A B
He boosters a tall gentle boy to a terrible totem
B Abm G Ab A B
And the kids gather round trying to see what's inside
B G B G Ab A B
I think when he's drinking he's drowning some riots
B G B G Ab A B
What is my friend trying to hide?

B B Bb A Abm G Ab A B
Cuz it's breaking my heart, it's breaking my heart
B B Bb A Abm G Ab A B
And it's breaking my heart to pull at the reigns
B G B G Ab A B
Brother of mine don't run with those f**kers
B G B G Ab A B
When will my friend start singing again
B G (held on longer) B
When will my friend start singing again

Not so sure about the "oooh" part but i think the chords are just E (barred at
the 12th fret) to B. This is played four times.

B Bb A Ab G Ab A B x 3
