Some Things Last A Long Time Chords

(ver. 2)
Daniel Johnston
My version, transcribed from piano to guitar. The other versions were close but not close enough.

Chords(low to high):
Am C/G Dsus2 Barre F Easy F Barre G Easy G C
-02210 332010 -00230 133211 -33211 355433 320033 -32010
(The F's and G's are interchangeable)

Each verse is separated into three little bits. The first bit, which is mostly two
lines of lyrics, goes like this (as does the intro and between-verse bits):

      (Am C/G Dsus2 F)Repeat on rhythm
Your picture is still on my wall, on my wall

The colors are bright, bright as ever

And then the next bit, which is one line, is the same chords, but slower.

Am C/F Dsus2 F
Red is strong and blue is pure

And then comes the chorus, which has slightly different chords:

G F C
Some things last a long time
G F C
Some things last a long time

And thats the whole song! The chords repeat that pattern over every verse. Now
here are the lyrics, for your enjoyment:

Your picture is still on my wall, on my wall
The colors are bright, bright as ever
Red is strong and blue is pure
Some things last a long time
Some things last a long time

Your picture is still on my wall, on my wall
I think about you often, often
I won't forget all the things we did
Some things last a long time
Some things last a long time

It's funny, but it's true
And it's true, but it's not funny
Time comes and goes
All of the while, I still think about you
Some things last a long time

Your picture is still on my wall, on my wall
The colors are bright, bright as ever
the things we did i can´t forget
Some things last a lifetime
Some things last a lifetime
Some things last a lifetime
