My Blue Heaven Chords

(ver. 2)
Taking Back Sunday
So this is my first time to ever tab a song, and I'm mainly doing this for my own use,
since there's I feel that there isn't a correct version of the chords available, although
there are some wonderful tabs of this song already out there. Feel free to comment and
use this tab as you wish, if you can improve on it I'd be thrilled!

I'll be honest, the G# is how they play it, but I kinda prefer a F there sometimes, it's
a bit easier and it sounds about the same, although that might just be me. This
probably isn't 100% correct, but it should hopefully get a better variation of this
made, plus this version is passable. Let me know what you think, my email is

Capo 1st

Am B C F
Two sides twist and then collide;
                       Am B
You're calling off the guards (Am I coming?)
B C F
I'm coming through. (Am I coming?)
Am B C F
Adulterous conditioned to a spin cycled submission,
          Am B C
You know, sometimes it just feels better to give in.
  C F
(Sometimes, it just feels better to give in.)

*Chorus*

C B
And it's all too familiar
B Am
And it happens all the time.
Am G#
All the cards begin to stack up,
G# C
Twisting heartache into fine
C B
Little pieces that avoid an awful crime,
         Am G#
But it's you I can't deny.
(You I can't deny.)

(Guitar solo if you have it, otherwise play rhythm here)
Am, B, C, F X2

Am B C F
Dull heat rises from the sheets.
                   Am G#
I'm both a patient boy,
G# C F
Well, and a jealous man. (Am I coming?)

(Let these ring)
Am (palm mute) B (palm mute)
My double standardized suspicion
C (let ring) F (let ring)
Is remedied, oh, my blue heaven,
Am B C
Sometimes, it just feels better to give in.
                          F
(Sometimes, it just feels better to give in.)

*Chorus*

C B
And it's all too familiar
B Am
And it happens all the time.
Am G#
All the cards begin to stack up,
G# C
Twisting heartache into fine
C B
Little pieces that avoid an awful crime,
         Am G#
But it's you I can't deny.
(You I can't deny.)

     C
We swing and we sway
         C
As this tiny voice in
   B
My head starts to sing
       B Am
You're safe, child, you are safe.
        Am F
(You're safe, child, you are safe.)
        F C
You're safe, child, you are safe.

*Refrain* (Or whatever you call this)

C, B, Am, G#

C
We swing and we sway

As this tiny voice in
    B
My head starts to sing
                            Am
You're safe, child, you are safe.
                            G# (let ring)
You're safe, child, you are safe

You're safe, child, you are
C B
safe (safe), safe (safe),
      Am F
You are safe.

C
We swing and we sway

As this tiny voice in
   B
My head starts to sing
                            Am
You're safe, child, you are safe. (Am I coming?)
       Am G# C
You're safe, child, you are safe. (Am I coming through?)

C B
Is this all too familiar?
B Am
Does it happen all the time?
                       G#
I'm just asking you to hear me.
                                  C
Could you please, just once, just hear me?
                       B
More then anything you wanted to be right.
           Am F Am
Still it's you, you, it's you I can't deny.
Am G#
(You I can't deny.)
                 C
It's you I can't deny.
