"Remembering You" by Steven Curtis Chapman

This song is from the album "Music Inspired by 'The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the
Witch, and the Wardrobe." This is the best song on the album, and it's my favorite song
right now - it's the song my iPod plays the most! It's really easy to play, the song is
in 3/4 time, and has an upbeat rhythm.

INTRO: G G G-D-C*
REPEAT INTRO 3x

VERSE1:
Em D C
I found you in the most unlikely way -
                                 Em
But really, it was you who found me
                 D C
And I found myself in the gifts that You gave -

You gave me so much, and I,
D C
   I wish you could stay,
D C
But I, I'll wait for the day...

CHORUS1:
         G D
And I'll watch as the cold winter melts into spring,
    Em D C
And I'll be Remembering You...
        G D
Oh, and I'll smell the flowers and hear the birds sing,
    Em D C
And I'll be Remembering You...
          INTRO 2X
I'll be Remembering You...

VERSE2:
Em D C
From the first moment when I heard your name,
                             Em
Something in my heart came alive -
               D C
You showed me love that no words could explain -
                        D C
A love with the power to open the door
       D C
To a world I was made for...

CHORUS2:
         G D
And I'll watch as the cold winter melts into spring,
    Em D C
And I'll be Remembering You...
        G D
Oh, and I'll smell the flowers and hear the birds sing,
    Em D
And I'll be remembering...

CHANNEL1:
The dark night, the hard fight,
The long climb up the hill knowing the cost -
Your brave death, your last breath,
The silence whispering all hope was lost -
The thunder, the wonder,
                                      D
A power that brings the dead back to life...

CHANNEL2:
C D
   I wish you could stay,
C D
But I'll wait for the day,
C D (single strum)
   And though you've gone away,
NC
   You'll come back...

CHORUS3:
         G D
And I'll watch as the cold winter melts into spring,
    Em D C
And I'll be Remembering You...
        G D
Oh, and I'll smell the flowers and hear the birds sing,
    Em D C
And I'll be Remembering You...
         G D
And I'll watch as the sun fills the sky that was dark,
    Em D C
And I'll be Remembering You...
        G D
Oh, and I'll think of the way that you filled up my heart,
    Em D C
And I'll be Remembering You...
          D C
I'll be Remembering You...
          D C
I'll be Remembering You...
D INTRO 3x (final time, end on single strum of C)
I'll be Remembering You...

D: x00232
C*: x32010
Em: x22000 or x22033
C: x32033

Sorry there's no chords on the first channel, it's some kind of minor chord that I
haven't figured out yet. It can't be too hard, so feel free to play around with it.
Any questions on timing, go buy the CD or download the song - IT'S AWESOME!
