I noticed a LOT of incorrect tabs for this on the internet, and
some even worse ones for the solo. So here's my version, which,
in my opinion, is the most correct. Then again, doesn't everyone
say that about their own tabs?

 Cadd9 G A7sus4 Dsus4 D Bm Em7 Dsus4/F#
e--3----3----3-----3----2--2---3---3---------
b--3----3----3-----3----3--3---3---3---------
g--0----0----2-----2----2--4---0---2---------
d--2----0----2-----0----0--4---2---0---------
a--3----2----0-----0----0--2---2---0---------
e--0----3----0-----0----0--2---0---2---------

Heh, I'm not sure if these chord names are right, but if they
sound right, who really even cares?

            Cadd9 G
This is the story of a girl
                    A7sus4 Dsus4 D
who cried a river and drowned the whole world
              Bm Cadd9
and while she looks so sad and lonely there
 A7sus4 (stop)
I absolutely love her
         G D Cadd9 G D Cadd9
when she smiles.

How many days in a year?
    G
She woke up with hope
 D
but she only found tears
 Bm Cadd9
and I can be so insincere
 G D
making her promises never for real
   Bm Cadd9
as long as she stands there waiting
 G D
wearing the holes in the soles of her shoes
 Bm Cadd9
and how many days disappear?
     G D
You look in the mirror, so how do you choose?
      Em7 Dsus4/F#
Your clothes never wear as well the next day
         G A7sus4
and your hair never falls in quite the same way
 Em7 Dsus4/F# A7sus4
you never seem to run outta things to say.

Just to put up with this every day and all day?
    Bm Cadd9
And how did we wind up this way
 G D
watching our mouths for the words that we say?
    Bm Cadd9
As long as we stand here waiting
 G D

How do we get there today
             G D
when we're walking too far for the price of our shoes?

Em7, Dsus4/F#, A7sus4

Although this is the solo for the acoustic version, some parts of it are
the same as in the radio version. Look for the radio solo from me next...
and stay away from crappy, incorrect tabs.

Play verse chords underneath the solo 4 times:

Bm Cadd9 G D (4x)

Start playing the solo at 1:54

e-10-x-7-7-7-x-10-10-10-x-----------------------------------10-10-------------

e---------------------------------------------------------10~-

Towards the very end of the song, there's this little riff thing that gets
played in back of the chords. Repeat it a few times, and when you end, let
the 12 ring out.

e----------------10-------
b-12-12-12p10h12----13-12-
g-------------------------
d-------------------------
a-------------------------
e-------------------------

The rest of the song pretty much repeats itself over and over again, so
I'm sure you'll be able to figure out the rest. End the song on a G.
