Torn Tabs

(ver. 2)
Imbruglia Natalie
The chord positions I use are the ones I think are used in the
song. But when you're playing on your acoustic at home it is
much easier to just play open position chords and it sounds good
too. But these are the correct ones I think.
I've tabbed all the main parts for the electric guitar. These
seem to be missing in all the tabs I've seen for this song.

   CHORDS:

   F1 (xx3211) F (133211) Dm (x57765)
   Fsus4 (xx3311) Am (577555) C (8-10-10-9-8-8)
   Fsus2 (xx3011) Bb7 (686766) Bb (688766)

   INTRO:

   F1 Fsus4 F1 Fsus2

   VERSE 1:

   F
I thought I saw a man brought to life

   Am Bb7
He was warm, he came around like he was dignified

He showed me what it was to cry

VERSE 2: [play like verse 1]

But you couldn't be that man I adored
You don't seem to know, seem to care, what your heart is for
   I don't know him anymore

What the electric guitar plays in the pre-chorus goes
   something like this:
      Dm C Am C
   E|-------------------------------------------------------------------|
   B|--------------10----------------8--------------5----------------8--|
   G|-------10-----------------9---------------5---------------9--------|
   D|-----12----12----------10----10---------7----7---------10----10----|
   A|---12----------------10---------------7--------------10------------|
   E|-10----------------8----------------5--------------8---------------|

   PRE-CHORUS:

           Dm
There's nothing where, he used to lie

   C
     My conversation has run dry

   Am C
     That's what going on

   Nothing's fine I'm

What the electric guitar plays in the chorus goes
   something like this:

       F C
   E|--------------------------------------
   B|-----8--------8----------8------8-----
   G|--10----10-10----10----9----9-9---9---
   D|--------------------------------------
   A|--------------------------------------
   E|--------------------------------------

       Dm Bb
   E-------------------------------------------|
   B------8--------8-----------8--------8------|
   G---10----10-10----10----10----10-10---10---|
   D-------------------------------------------|
   A-------------------------------------------|
   E-------------------------------------------|

   CHORUS:

   F
   Torn

                  C
   I'm all out of faith

                 Dm
   This is how I feel

                     Bb
I'm cold and I am shamed

                      F
   lying naked on the floor

                  C
   Illusion never changed

                  Dm
   into something real

                      Bb
I'm wide awake and I can see

                      F
   the perfect sky is torn

                   C
   You're a little late

               Dm Bb
   I'm already torn

Here's the little fill used in the first Am chord
   in Verse 3:
      Am
   E|-----------------|
   B|--------8--5-----|
   G|-----5-----------|
   D|-5/7-------------|
   A|-----------------|
   E|-----------------|

   VERSE 3: [play like verses 1 & 2]

So I guess the fortuneteller's right
I should have seen just what was there and not some holy light
But you crawled beneath my veins and now

   PRE-CHORUS: [play like first pre-chorus]

   I don't care, I have no luck
I don't miss it all that much
   There just so many things
   that I can't touch I'm

   CHORUS: [play like first chorus]

   Torn
   I'm all out of faith
   This is how I feel
I'm cold and I am shamed
   lying naked on the floor
   Illusion never changed
   into something real
I'm wide awake and I can see
   the perfect sky is torn
   You're a little late
   I'm already torn

   BRIDGE:

   Dm Bb
   Torn

   Dm F C
   (ooooooh-oooooooh) [backing vocals]

   PRE-CHORUS: [play like previous pre-choruses]

There's nothing where, he used to lie
   My inspiration has run dry
   That's what going on
   Nothing's right I'm

   CHORUS:

   F
   Torn

                  C
   I'm all out of faith

                 Dm

                     Bb
I'm cold and I am shamed

                      F
   lying naked on the floor

                  C
