(ver. 1)

- WIRE - I Feel Mysterious Today -
----------------------------------------

12th track of their 1978 album "Chairs Missing".
standard 4 string bass tuning (EADG)
originally played with a pick
he also uses an effect, i'm not sure which, it's not necessary anyway

main riff/verse: |first time
G|--------------------------------|--------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------|--------------------------------|
A|-5-5-5-5------------------------|--------------------------------|
E|---------3-3-3-3/7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7|5-5-5-5-5-5-5-5-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-|
                                  |
                                  |second time
                                 E|7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-|

chorus:
E|-///12-|
it's played four times, followed by repeating E|12-| and optionally
alternating with D|14-|

verse 3:
E|12-11-| a lot of times, then let E|12-| sound for a while, then
          continue with the chorus riff

last chorus:
same as previous choruses, but goes to E|12br-| (bend one step up, then
release... listen to the recording to get the idea), which repeats until
the song ends. Finally, play E|0-| or E|12-|.

song structure:
main riff + verse (twice the whole riff)
chorus (4x the chorus "riff")
verse (the whole thing once)
chorus (4x)
verse 3 (i don't know how many times the pattern is played, the guitar plays
standard verse riff so use it as a clue)
chorus (4x)
outro (bent E|12-| a lot of times, use vocals as a clue when to end)

and that's it. e-mail me if you got any comments or corrections.
