Speeches Chords

(ver. 1)
Walk Off The Earth
Here are the chords for this awesome song by WOTE. Hopefully this is vaguely correct.
It's my first tab so please be gentle.

The one concern I have is the Am7/G chord in the verse. I've watched live
footage of the band and noticed that Ryan releases his 3rd finger from the
Am chord and plays the 3rd fret on the E string (or at least it sounds like
it), thus making (I believe), an Am7/G chord. I'm still getting to grips
with the lesser known chords, so any assistance would be welcomed. How I've
interpreted the chord should be below.

Listen to the song for rhythm and to try and figure out what I mean regarding the chord itself

As I say, I don't think it's perfect, but it may be a start for someone to
improve on. Any comments, criticisms and feedback would be most welcome to

Enjoy. :)

    Am Am7/G
The second snow is heaven sent
    Am Am7/G
You laid it out like evidence
     Am Am7/G
Read all the words you never said
     Am Am7/G
Like speeches for the President

  Am Am7/G
I drew your name in white cement
     Am Am7/G
Made promises and reverence
   Am Am7/G
To save them for your reference
  Am Am7/G
A victim of my circumstance

    C G Am
But oh, when you lay your hands on me

I know that I can heal

Our pen had found the bottom line
    Am Am7/G
The past that had me paralyzed
    Am Am7/G

    Am Am7/G
And do you think we got it right

Or we'll both disagree this time
    Am Am7/G
