There are a lot of sour-sounding notes in the bassline of this song. I've strained over
this song for quite some time to be sure I'm not crazy, but I still may very well be,
so if you can't take it, a good alternative is often a half or whole-step down from
the "sour" minor third.
About the Intro: In this song, the bass is faded in with synth/strings/organ/whatever
they use. However, for practical purposes I'm starting this tab where the drums begin
(a couple measures after the fade-in). If you want to do a gig where the bass fades in
just fade it in on the note this tab starts on (C). If you're just jamming with this
song though, you'll probably just start on percussion anyways, so you can follow this
tab as written. Rock on party people.

Final Note: The main rhythm of the bass line is pretty obvious, but
I'm sure there are going to be disputes about one thing until a video
is released, and that is whether there are 4 16th notes in the main
riff (like this: |22225-2---------|) or 3 synchopated notes (like
this: |22-25-2---------|). You can play it either way you want. I
think the synchopation makes it a mellower and more fitting bass line
but if you desire to play 4, be my guest. It's incredibly hard to
discern with my system, but both are essentially the same and sound
great.
