Charlie Darwin Ukulele

(ver. 1)
The Low Anthem
Based on "Peggy Days" Tab with a few alterations.
Please be aware this is my first tab so apologies for any mistakes!

ODD CHORDS - C/G Fmaj7
               0 0
               1 1
               0 2
               2 3
               3 x
               3 x

You can play a regular C instead of C/G. Both are fine but I think C/G sounds nicer.

C/G F
Set the sails I feel the winds a'stirring
Am G
Toward the bright horizon set the way
Em F
Cast your wreckless dreams upon our Mayflower
G C/G
Haven from the world and her decay

C/G F
And who could heed the words of Charlie Darwin
Am G
Fighting for a system built to fail
Em F
Spooning water from their broken vessels
   G C/G
As far as I can see there is no land

F C/G Em Am G
Oh my god, the water's all around us
F C/G G C/G
Oh my god, it's all around

[Short Instrumental - Just repeat chords for "Oh my god, the water's all around us, Oh
god, it's all around"]

C/G F
And who could heed the words of Charlie Darwin
Am G
The lords of war just profit from decay
    Em F
And trade their children's promise for the jingle
    G C/G
The way we trade our hard earned time for pay

F C/G Em Am G
Oh my god, the water's cold and shapeless
F C/G G C/G
Oh my god, it's all around
F C/G Em Am G
Oh my god, life is cold and formless
F C/G G C/G
Oh my god, it's all around

[Ending of song played same as the short instrumental]

At the end of the song, Fmaj7 is quickly played before finally finishing on C/G.

Thanks to Peggy Days for the help!

Good luck and let me know what you think!
