I Got You - Split Enz
----------------------

I play the verse with muted power chords (1 and 5) to get that New Wave feel,
then play the chorus with full chords. I think the solo is over the chorus
chords, but it doesn't sound quite right to me so I could be wrong.

[INTRO]
The intro is just the D power chord alternated with the pinky on the Bb to
raise the 5 to a minor 6th. You play the alternation four times.

[1ST VERSE]
C C# F F C
I Got You, That's all I want.

C C# F F C
I won't forget, that's a whole lot.

C C# F F C
I don't go out, now that you're in.

C C# F F
Sometimes we shout, but that's no problem.

[CHORUS]
F F F F C
I don't know why sometimes I get frightened.

         F F F C F
You can see my eyes and tell that I'm not lyin'.

F F F F C
I don't know why sometimes I get frightened.

         F F F C F
You can see my eyes and tell me you're not cryin'.

[2ND VERSE]
Look at you, you're a pageant.
You're everything that I've imagined.
When something's wrong I get uneasy
You show me, tell me you're not teasin'.

[CHORUS] Twice

[SOLO]

[3RD VERSE]
There's no doubt when I'm with you.
When I'm without, I stay in my room.
Where do you go, I get no answer.
You're always out, it gets on my nerves.

[CHORUS] to fade
