It does this a few times then goes back to the verse.

This is not easy to work out as it's essentially just noise. The best i can describe it 
as is:

1:43 the bridge starts - no bass
1:50 bass comes in and it's runs up and down the neck i.e.

Do this pretty fast - on A string. Maybe just sliding from 4/16 and back.

After you do this a few times it starts to slow down at 1:55 to:

It may start ascending up the neck towards Bb a bit further down - maybe starts at 7th 
fret moving down to 1st - i am not sure.

The bass stops altogether and guitar chords start up.
