WWW.AZCHORDS.COM | Queens Of The Stone Age - Walkin On Sidewalks Tabs | Ver. 1
Band: Queens of The Stone Age
Tuning: C/F/Bb/Eb/G/C
Note: Ok, I looked at the other version that was on here, and frankly, it was terrible.
I sat down I tried to do better. To be completely honest, I don’t think that mine is
either, but it is a hell of a lot better than his. The big thing that I think I may be a
off on is the chorus, but I think it sounds ok, (any corrections on that would be
patience. Anyway, this tab may not be 100%, but I can guarantee you that it is a hell
a lot better than the other version!
Intro
e|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|---12---------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|---14^--------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|-------------12-----------------------------------------------------------|
A|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|00-----000-0--------------------------------------------------------------|
Verse(you can play this in different chord positions to get the same sound, but I
find it easier to play it this way.)
e|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|-99-6-12-9-7-9------------------------------------------------------------|
D|-99-6-12-9-7-9------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-77-4-10-7-5-7------------------------------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
Other riff used in verse
e|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|-99-6-7-9-7-9-------------------------------------------------------------|
D|-99-6-7-9-7-9-------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-77-4-5-7-5-7-------------------------------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
Chorus(iffy on this part...)
e|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|-7777777-6666666----------------------------------------------------------|
D|-7777777-6666666----------------------------------------------------------|
A|-5555555-4444444----------------------------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
Right after the second chorus Josh does some vocalizing, and during that I THINK this
the chord just being strummed over and over until the outro.
e|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|-5------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|-5------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-3------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
Outro(seriously, THE coolest outro EVER!, Or at least one of the best)
e|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|----12--------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|----14^-------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|------------------12------------------------------------------------------|
A|------------12h14---------------------------------------------------------|
E|-00-----000---------------------------------------------------------------|
Then just play that over and over and over and over and over and over for a good 3 mins
so, and feel free to do some improving in the regular Josh style.
Well, there you go, not perfect, but it’s a lot better than the other piece of sh*t that
submitted. So, aside from the lead parts, that’s it! PLEASE
feel free to RATE or give me some corrections on the chorus.
