 Bm G A D Bm G D A this whole thing repeats twice
Wasted youth! Wasted youth!

   Bm G A D Bm G D A
I know that I will never be politically correct
   Bm G A D Bm G A D
And I don't give a damn about my lack of etiquette
   Bm G A D Bm G D A
As far as I'm concerned, the world could still be flat
            Bm G A D
And if the thrill is gone, then it's time to take it back
         Bm G A G
If the thrill is gone, then it's time to take it back

Who am I? Why am I here? Forget the questions, someone gimme another beer
What's the meaning of life, what's the meaning of it all?
You gotta learn to dance before you learn to crawl
You gotta learn to dance before you learn to

Throw away those designer suits
 Bm
You got your weapons cocked

Your targets in your sights
 D/A A7 G A Bm
There's a party raging somewhere in the world

You gotta serve your country, gotta service your girl

You're all enlisted in the armies of the night

    Bm G A
And I ain't in it for the power
    Bm G A
And I ain't in it for my health
          Bm F#m Bm
I ain't in it for the glory of anything at all
       C A
And I sure ain't in it for the wealth
        Bm G A D
But I'm in it till it's over and I just can't stop
        Bm F#m A
If you wanna get it done, you gotta do it yourself

And I like my music like I like my life

 D Gsus2
Everything louder than everything else
 D Gsus2
Everything louder than everything else
 D Gsus2 A
Everything louder than everything else

 Bm Em/B A#dim/B G/B A from here until "they say i'm wild and i'm
Wasted youth! Wasted youth! reckless just do little slides and stuff,
don't play the actual chords unless you
                                      want to
G/B A Bm
They got a file on me and it's a mile long
         Em/B
And they say that they got all of the proof
        A#dim/B
That I'm just another case of arrested development
    G/B A/B
And just another wasted youth

They say that I'm in need of some radical discipline
They say I gotta face the truth
That I'm just another case of arrested development
And just another wasted youth

A G D
They say I'm wild and I'm reckless
 G D
I should be acting my age
         Bm F#m
I'm an impressionable child in a tumultuous world
         C/G A
And they say I'm at a difficult stage
            D G
But it seems to me to the contrary
            D A
Of all the cr*p they're going to put on the page

B5 G5 A5 D5 there are six "wasted youths" and it
That a wasted youth is better by far goes (by ending chords)
         G5 A5 B5 A5 A5 D5 A5 D5 A5 A
Than a wise and productive old age (so in order, 1 2 1 2 1 3)

         B5 G5 A5 D5
That a wasted youth is better by far
         G5 A5 B5 D5
Than a wise and productive old age

         B5 G5 A5 D5
That a wasted youth is better by far
         G5 A5 G A
Than a wise and productive old age

        Bm G A D
If you want my views of history then there's something you should know
      Bm G A D
The three men I admire most are Curly, Larry and Mo!
              Bm G A D
If you don't worry 'bout the future, sooner or later it's the past
            Bm G A D
And if they say the thrill is gone, then it's time to take it back
         Bm G A D
If the thrill is gone, then it's time to take it back

again palm mute this

So sign up all you raw recruits, throw away all those two-bit suits
You got your weapons cocked, your targets in your sights
There's a party raging somewhere in the world
You gotta serve your country, gotta service your girl
You're all inducted in the armies of the night

And I ain't in it for the power, and I ain't in it for the health
I ain't in it for the glory of anything at all
And I sure ain't in it for the wealth
But I'm in it till it's over and I just can't stop
If you wanna get it done, you gotta fight for yourself
And I like my music like I like my life

Everything louder than everything else

this is repeated a bunch of times, and the first 6 times through (listen you'll
hear) are just bass and stuff, after that guitar comes in...try some weird stuff
add slides after the A is played, or play the a as X-12-14-14-14-12, then play
the D A and G one octave up as bar chords, stuff like that
FINAL RIFF (for bagpipes)

G---12--13--10--12--8----10-8-10-12----12--13--10--12--8----10-8-7-8
have fun, this is one of the best songs in creation
again i take no credit nor blame for chords, i gave instructions and the riff and
i think that's in the wrong key but the intervals are right
PEACE OUT
