I’m not dead sure about this.. I think two guitars play different parts in harmony.  Heavily palm muted.

Guitar 2 bridge. Play in unison with guitar 1

Play this harmony twice for guitar 2, and four times for guitar 1. While guitar 1 is playing it’s last two phrases, guitar 2 plays







Play this riff four times for second verse
Then the bridge again (“kingdoms will rise to power...”)

Play this 8 times. (fourth time with pinch on 3rd fret 4th string.)

Then comes the badass part.

Play this two-line phrase twice. It looks a little more complicated than it sounds, but this is definitely what Joel plays. Listen to it and you’ll get it.

What Adam plays are just variations on this heavily palm muted rhythm. Again, listen to the album to get it exactly right. Play this two-line phrase twice also.
