You mean nobody remembers this song?

                             The Snake (Johnny Rivers?????)

                        (Chords the way I remembered)

             Dm
On her way to work one morning, down the path along the lake
               A7 Dm
A tender hearted woman found a poor half frozen snake
             Dm
She Clutched him to her bosom your so beautiful she cried
                 A7 Dm
And if I hadn't came along You might have well had died

                     Dm
chorus Take me in ole tender women Take me in for heaven sake
                     A7 Dm
Take me in ole tendered woman ssssssssighed the Snake

Actually I believe the song was kinda dirty...
You see she takes the snake into her home and Oh more
words "She Laid him by the fireside with some honey and some
            milk"
Well, one day she comes home to find that the snake
had completely recovered and was packed and ready to leave. So
naturally she said something about him leaving to which he says

"Shut-up silly woman said that reptile with a grin"
"You knew my bite was posionous before you took me in"

             Chorus

                               ???????

                                        Glen
