Hi Family! I got these lyrics off of David Dodd's annotated GD lyrics site,www3.clearlight.com. The tab I worked out by ear. If anybody knows this tune better, please submit it! Deep Elem is a traditional bluegrass song played by the dead from their earliest days up to 1983. It was also played by Jerry and David Nelson in 1962.
