       F(D) C7(A7)

And never brought to mind?
       F(D) C7(A7)
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
A7(F#m7) Dm(Bm) Bb(G) C7(A7) F(D)
And days of auld lang syne?
Bb(G) F(D) C7(A7)
And days of auld lang syne, my dear,
    F(D) Bb(G)
And days of auld lang syne.
       F(D) C7(A7)
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
A7(F#m7) Dm(Bm) Bb(G) C7(A7) F(D)
And days of auld lang syne?

We twa hae run aboot the braes
And pu'd the gowans fine.
We've wandered mony a weary foot,
Sin' auld lang syne.
Sin' auld lang syne, my dear,
Sin' auld lang syne,
We've wandered mony a weary foot,
Sin' auld lang syne.

We twa hae sported i' the burn,
But seas between us braid hae roared
Sin' auld lang syne.
Sin' auld lang syne, my dear,
Sin' auld lang syne.
But seas between us braid hae roared
Sin' auld lang syne.

And ther's a hand, my trusty friend,
And gie's a hand o' thine;
We'll tak' a cup o' kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.
For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne,
We'll tak' a cup o' kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.

(NOTE: these are Robert Burns original lyrics.
Many sing just the first 4 lines of the
first verse, the last 4 of the last,
then sing the last verse - the "We twa hae"
verses are usually skipped here in the states...
Oh, and the "cup o' kindness" was a nice dram 'o Scotch...
and "auld lyne syne" is "old time's sake")
