Hi there! This is a good song from Toby Keith and
it's really easy to play too. There's a lot of palm
muting going on in this song. I mute all the verses and
stop at the pre-chorus and chorus parts (like I've indi-
cated) but play it however YOU want to! My indications
are only suggestions!

         ************Please Rate:)*************
                       Thanks!

The intro is palm muted and sort of picked and strummed.
I just "wing it" since I can't pick and it still sounds
good:)

Standard Tuning
No Capo

Intro-
D (I palm mute intro and verses)

D
Walked downtown in my broke down shoes
       A
To the Side Street Pub with the bar band blues

Take a back seat at the front door table
A
Order me a Bud and shot of Black Label
D
Close this place down once again
A
Sittin' here wishin' you'd walk right in
G
Down my shot, shoot my beer
        A
I ain't gotta go home but I can't stay here

(Stop muting)
       G A
It's a short, short walk down to my second home

            A G A
When you're walkin' back alone

D A
And I don't know where you might be
Bm G D
Where ever it is it'll be without me
              A Em D G A
Keep thinkin' I'll come home one day and find you
D A
Long as I got that neon light
Bm G

  Em A
I know I can make it downtown by myself
              G D G
'Cause if you don't know where you're goin'
