Place In This World Tabs

(ver. 1)
Michael W Smith
I do not have the chords or something yet, just the naked tones.

-> Intro:

 e|2-2-2-2-2-2-4b2-0-|----0-0-----0---|
 B|------------------|4-4-----2-4-----|
 G|------------------|----------------|
 D|------------------|----------------|
 A|------------------|----------------|
 E|------------------|----------------|

  You could also play this last bar as:

   e|----0-0---------|
   B|4-4-------------|
   G|----------------|
   D|----------1-2---|
   A|--------4-------|
   E|----------------|

-> Couplet:

 e|2-2-2-2-4---------0-0-|2-2-5-4-5-5-5-3---0-|2-2-2-2-4---------0-0-|2-2-5-4-5-5-5-3---0-|7---5-----7---|
 B|----------0-2-4-4-----|----------------3---|----------0-2-4-4-----|----------------3---|--------------|
 G|----------------------|--------------------|----------------------|--------------------|--------------|
 D|----------------------|--------------------|----------------------|--------------------|--------------|
 A|----------------------|--------------------|----------------------|--------------------|--------------|
 E|----------------------|--------------------|----------------------|--------------------|--------------|

-> Chord:

 e|--------------0-0-0-0-0-|------2-0-------0-|2-0-----------|
 B|2-2-2-2-2---------------|4-2-0-----4-0-4---|----4-2-4-2-0-|
 G|------------------------|------------------|--------------|
 D|----------4-4-----------|------------------|--------------|
 A|------------------------|------------------|--------------|
 E|------------------------|------------------|--------------|

  You could also play the chord like this:

  Chord (high):

   e|9-9-9-9-9-----12-12-12-12-12-|11-9----14-12-11----11-12-|14-12-11-9-11-9----|
   B|----------7-7----------------|-----12----------12-------|----------------12-|
   G|-----------------------------|--------------------------|-------------------|
   D|-----------------------------|--------------------------|-------------------|
   A|-----------------------------|--------------------------|-------------------|
   E|-----------------------------|--------------------------|-------------------|

    Comment: This is just a variation, if you have an electric guitar, you can play the whole song this way, don't try it on an accoustic guitar,
             since the rest of the song will be unplayable then...

-> Couplet 2 (Repeat Couplet 1)
-> Chord (Repeat Chord (d0h :P))

-> Solo:

 e|----------------5-3-5-6-|------------7-5-7-8-|5-7-8-10-17-15-17-18-10-11-13-11-10-8-|8 10 11 13 15 13 12 10----------------7-8-10-|
 B|0---0-1---0-1-3---------|3-4-6-4-3-----------|--------------------------------------|---------------------------------8-10--------|
 G|--2-----2---------------|----------5---------|--------------------------------------|--------------------------7-9-10-------------|
 D|------------------------|--------------------|--------------------------------------|-----------------------10--------------------|
 A|------------------------|--------------------|--------------------------------------|---------------------------------------------|
 E|------------------------|--------------------|--------------------------------------|---------------------------------------------|

  You could also play the solo like this, which is, in my opinion, a lot easier ;) :
   e|-----------------------------|--------------7-5-7-8-|5-7-8-10-17-15-17-18-10-11-13-11-10-8-|8 10 11 13 15 13 12 10----------------7-8-10-|
   B|------------------10-8-10-11-|----------------------|--------------------------------------|---------------------------------8-10--------|
   G|----------------7------------|7-8-10-8-7------------|--------------------------------------|--------------------------7-9-10-------------|
   D|9-7-9-10-7-9-10--------------|-----------10---------|--------------------------------------|-----------------------10--------------------|
   A|-----------------------------|----------------------|--------------------------------------|---------------------------------------------|
   E|-----------------------------|----------------------|--------------------------------------|---------------------------------------------|

 Comment @ Solo: I made this tab at an accoustic guitar, since I have no electrical one. It's almost impossible to play this solo correctly on a
                 accoustic guitar, since the frets are just too high to play, the last walk I even (the second half of the last bar) lowered one
                 octave, if you own an electrical one, you could and should play this one octave higher. Also the walks are very fast, so an
                 electrical guitar gives you a great advantage.

-> Chord after solo:

 e|--------------1-1-1-1-1-|0-----3-1-0---0-1-|3-1-0---0-----|
 B|3-3-3-3-3---------------|--3-1-------1-----|------3---3-1-|
 G|----------0-0-----------|------------------|--------------|
 D|------------------------|------------------|--------------|
 A|------------------------|------------------|--------------|
 E|------------------------|------------------|--------------|

-> Outro:
                                                                             fade out...............
 e|----5-3-------------|3-1-0-----------|0-0-5-3-------------|3-1-0-----3-1-0---|0-0-5-3-------------...
 B|3-3-----1---0-1-1-0-|------3-1---1-3-|--------1---0-1-1-0-|------3-1-------3-|--------1---0-1-1-0-...
 G|----------2---------|----------2-----|----------2---------|------------------|----------2---------...
 D|--------------------|----------------|--------------------|------------------|--------------------...
 A|--------------------|----------------|--------------------|------------------|--------------------...
 E|--------------------|----------------|--------------------|------------------|--------------------...
