"The One That Got Away" By Jake Owen

I'm about 90% confident these chords are correct but there are some I'm not
totally sure of so if you have
any suggestions please feel free to let me know! And if you are having trouble
playing it with these
The song is a full step down but it can just as easily be played in standard
tuning using F for G,
C for D, Am for Bm, G for A, & Dm for Em. Once again, please let me know if you have suggestions!

Also it sounds fine if you play a Bm instead of the Em & the Dsus4/A can be
replaced with just an A!

**FULL-STEP DOWN TUNING**

Intro: G D Bm A

Verse 1:

G D Em Dsus4/A
She rode in
          G D Em Dsus4/A
My little sandy town
              G D Em Dsus4/A
She spent the summer there
         G D Em Dsus4/A
A couple houses down
            G D Em Dsus4/A
Well it was magic in the air
         G D Em Dsus4/A
When she caught my eye
          G D Em Dsus4/A
We shared three short months
        G D Em Dsus4/A
And one long goodbye

Chorus:

            G D A Bm
She was the one that got away
             G D Em Dsus4/A
The one that wrecked my heart
            G D
I should've never let her go
            Em Dsus4/A
I should've begged her to stay
            G D Em Dsus4/A
She was the one that got away
          G D Em Dsus4/A
Yeah, the one that got away

Verse 2:

         G D Em Dsus4/A
Well she kissed my lips
        G D Em Dsus4/A
Down on Ocean Drive
           G D Em Dsus4/A
She set my world on fire
       G D Em Dsus4
On the fourth of July
             G D Em Dsus4/A
We wrote our names in the sand
          G D Em Dsus4/A
Under the star-soaked sky
       G D Em Dsus4/A
But it washed away like she did
         G D Em Dsus4/A
With the rising tide

Chorus:

            G D A Bm
She was the one that got away
             G D Em Dsus4/A
The one that wrecked my heart
            G D
I should've never let her go
            Em Dsus4/A
I should've begged her to stay
            G D Em Dsus4/A
She was the one that got away

Bridge:

G* G
Every summer that rolls around
    A
I'm looking over my shoulder
G
Wishing I could see her face
A
Wishing I could hold her

Chorus: x2

            G D A Bm
She was the one that got away
             G D Em Dsus4/A
The one that wrecked my heart
            G D
I should've never let her go
            Em Dsus4/A
I should've begged her to stay
            G D Em Dsus4/A
She was the one that got away
          G D Em Dsus4/A
Yeah, the one that got away

Outro:

G D Em Dsus4/A
She rolled in
          G D Em Dsus4/A
My little sandy town
              G D Em Dsus4/A
She spent the summer there
         G (let it ring)
A couple houses down
