Sort Of Tabs

(ver. 2)
Ingrid Michaelson
Intro/Verse:    D  -> Em7  -> D/F#  -> Gsus2

Chorus/Bridge: Em7 -> D/F# -> Gsus2 -> A

Finger-pick throughout: P,I,M,I,M,I,M,I

There is a part at "But here I am, and here we go again" where you play each chord (of the chorus progression)
one time by simultaneously plucking all three strings of the respective chord. Play it through a few times
against the original and you'll figure it out pretty easily.

Also, there is a bridge at "tell me what to do to take away the you" The Chord progression is the same as the
Chorus, just slow and linger on the last A for a while and then play the last chorus as full chords (like the
bridge).

Tuning: standard
Capo: 3rd Fret

Verse:

D Em7 D/F# Gsus2
Baby you've got the sort of hands to rip me apart
    D Em7 D/F# Gsus2
And baby you've got the sort of face to start this old heart
D Em7 D/F# Gsus2
Your eyes are warning me this early morning
     D Em7 D/F# Gsus2
That my love's too big for you my love

D Em7 D/F# Gsus2
Baby you've got the sort of laugh that waters me
    D Em7 D/F# Gsus2
And makes me grow tall and strong and proud and flattens me
D Em7 D/F# Gsus2
I find you stunning, but you are running me down
D Em7 D/F# Gsus2
My love's too big for you my love
D Em7 D/F# Gsus2
My love's too big for you my love

Chorus:

Em7 D/F# Gsus2 A
And if I was stronger then I would tell you no
Em7 D/F# Gsus2 A
And if I was stronger then I would leave this show
Em7 D/F# Gsus2 A
And if I was stronger then I would up and go
Em7 D/F# Gsus2 A
But here I am and here we go again

Verse:

D Em7 D/F# Gsus2
Baby you've got the sort of eyes that tell me tales
D Em7 D/F# Gsus2
That your sort of mouth just will not say, the truth impales
D Em7 D/F# Gsus2
That you don't need me, but you won't leave me
D Em7 D/F# Gsus2
My love's too big for you my love
D Em7 D/F# Gsus2
My love's too big for you my love

Em7 D/F# Gsus2 A

And if I was stronger then I would leave this show
Em7 D/F# Gsus2 A
And if I was stronger then I would up and go

Take away the you
Gsus2 A...........
Take away the you.....
