Hi, I made this with chords progression of keyboard. I hope you like it and sorry
for my mistakes (if there is someone). This is the only chords version with intro.

              THE CARPET CRAWLERS

EMaj7 AMaj7 EMaj7 AMaj7
There is lambswool under my naked feet.

    F#m6
The wool is soft and warm,

      C#
gives off some kind of heat.

  C#m DMaj7 C#m DMaj7
A salamander scurries into flame to be

C#m DMaj7
destroyed.

     B5 DMaj7 B5 AMaj7
Imaginary creatures are trapped in birth on

     EMaj7 AMaj7 EMaj7 AMaj7
celluloid.

    F#6
The fleas cling to the golden fleece,

C#
Hoping they'll find peace.

     C#m DMaj7 C#m DMaj7 C#m
Each thought and gesture are caught in

DMaj7 C#m DMaj7
celluloid.

                  B5 DMaj7 B5
There's no hiding in my memory.

        A7 Dsus2 A7 D
There's no room to avoid.

                       Em
The crawlers cover the floor in the red

      D
ochre corridor.

                          Em
For my second sight of people, they've more

                 D
lifeblood than before.

                  Em
They're moving in time to a heavy wooden

D
door,

                            Em
Where the needles eye is winking, closing in on the poor.

    F#m7 A
The carpet crawlers heed their callers:

                          G A
Weve got to get in to get out

                          G D
Weve got to get in to get out

                  C Em D
Weve got to get in to get out.

D Em
There's only one direction in the faces that

  D
I see;

                      Em
It's upward to the ceiling, where the

                 D
chambers said to be.

                             Em
Like the forest fight for sunlight, that

                    D
takes root in every tree.

                            Em
They are pulled up by the magnet, believing they're free.

    F#m7 A
The carpet crawlers heed their callers:

                           G A
We've got to get in to get out

                           G D
We've got to get in to get out

                   C Em D
We've got to get in to get out.

                           Em
Mild mannered supermen are held in kryptonite,

             D
And the wise and foolish virgins giggle with

      Em
their bodies glowing bright.

D Em
Through a door a harvest feast is lit by candlelight;

D Em
It's the bottom of a staircase that spirals out of sight.

    F#m7 A
The carpet crawlers heed their callers:

                           G A
We've got to get in to get out

                           G D
We've got to get in to get out

                   C Em D
We've got to get in to get out.

                           Em
The porcelain manikin with shattered skin fears attack.

      D
The eager pack lift up their pitchers

Em
They carry all they lack.

    D
The liquid has congealed, which has speed

Em
out through the crack,

        D Em
And the tickler takes his stickleback.

    F#m7 A
The carpet crawlers heed their callers:

                           G A
We've got to get in to get out

                           G D
We've got to get in to get out

                   C Em D
We've got to get in to get out.
