(ver. 1)
Foster The People
So, on the other tab the timing was sorta off (and the lyrics were pretty wrong)
so I've decided to write it down the way I play it. So here you go, its not
creative but it sounds alright and you can sing to it :)

- CAPO 1 (but it sounds alright without capo) -

Em
Sometimes life it takes you by the hair
   D
It pulls you down before you know it
D
Its gone and you're dead again.
C D
Ive been in places and I wont pretend
        G D
That Id make it out just to fall on my head

Em
Wake up strange and take the walk downstairs
        D
Hit the pawn up on the corner and pay for my rent
C D
You know that I could not believe my own truth
     G D
Just show them what I choose, got nothing to lose

Em
Yeah yeah and its O.K.
       D
I tie my hands up to a chair so I dont fall that way.
C D
Yeah yeah and Im alright.
         G D
I took a sip of something poisoned but Ill hold on tight.

Em
You know those days when you want to just choose
   D
To not get out of bed, youre lost in your head again.
    C D
You play the game but you kind of cut
              G D
'Cause youre coming down hard and your joints are all stuck.
Em
Ive tried to say that it's not the only way
   D
I never knew if I could face myself to change.
   C D
You were pacing I was insecure.
         G D
Slip and fall, Im dodging calls, hug the prison Ive been living in.

Em
Yeah yeah and its O.K.
       D
I tie my hands up to a chair so I dont fall that way.
C D
Yeah yeah and Im alright.
         G D
I took a sip of something poisoned but Ill hold on tight.
