Incubus - Quicksand Bass

This song is the opener to Incubus' latest album, Light Grenades. Being a huge 
Incubus fan I've decided to tab the whole album in order. When I'm done I'll 
compile everything into one file. So, here's the first track.

The chorus is essentially the same rhythm as the verse. The only difference is 
that the notes are more sustained in the chorus, and staccato in the verse.

Doesn't look very complicated, but the time signature can trip you up. I'm not exactly
sure on this, but I think they're alternating between 7/4 and 3/4 time. One measure 
of 7/4, followed by a measure of 3/4 and four measures of 7/4 completes the very
unusual 6 measure phrase.

Keep that in mind if you decide to jam on this song - you can improvise or just keep 
hitting on those 2 notes, it's up to you. Also consider sliding up to the C in the
chorus:

Of course, you could always just play it as is, since it is already a beautiful
intro to another awesome release from my all-time favorite band.
