Make It In America Ukulele

(ver. 1)
Victoria Justice
Hi!
This is the new song from Victorious. I really like it!
This is my first one and I tabbed this by ear, so if I've got something wrong, please
tell me!

In case you don't know, to play Cadd9, just put your fingers on a G but 'jump' them all
in one string to play the chord.
Or, it's basically a C but move the finger that's on the B string down 2 frets.
You will have to re-arrange your fingers so it is more comfortable.

Thanks!

Standard Tuning
Capo 2

Intro : F Fadd9 x2

Verse 1:
      F Fadd9
Got a one-way ticket down a two way street
        F Fadd9
Got the wind in my hair and there's dust on my feet
         Dm7
I'm just trying
   F
To make it in America

F

Verse 2:
     (F) Fadd9
Only thing to my name is an old t-shirt
      F Fadd9
Faded nine-teen eighty-five from a Stones concert
        Dm7
And I'm dying
   F
To make it in America

F

Pre-Chorus: (? doesn't really sound like one)
        F Fadd9
And I'm singing the words to my favourite song
         F Fadd9
With the rag-top down and my glasses on
        Dm7
and I'm driving
F
Straight through America

G

Chorus:
(no G) F
I wanna taste the sun
                         F
'Cause baby, I'm born to run
                   Am G
I've gotta feeling that I'm not the only one
F F
I, I wanna show some skin
                        Dm7
'Cause baby, I need the ocean
                   Dm7 F
You can't stop me now I've got my heart in motion
F
I, wanna make it in america
D (ring out)
make it in america

~Repeat intro only once~

Repeat verse chords to these lyrics

I can see my star sunset and vine
Gonna carve my name in the Hollywood sign
Yeah I gotta, gotta make it in America

See me wearing a smile even if I'm broke
I'll be singing the words from a song i wrote
And I called it, Make it in America

~Chorus~

Middle 8:
      Dm7 F
I can feel the sweat dripping down my face
      Dm7 F
I can hear my heart as it starts to race
         Dm7 F
Yeah some-times this world's such a lonely place
          G
If I just push on I know that

~Chorus~
