Prime Time Tabs

(ver. 2)
Tim Christensen

/ Tim Christensen / I think this is one of his more overlooked songs
/ Primetime / and a truly beautifully melancholic pearl.
/ Secrets on Parade / This is also a magnificent example of his minimalistic
/____________________/ style of guitar-arrangement. Enjoy!

The time signature in the verses is 6/4. I reckon you can count this either as
1-2-3,1-2-3 (slow waltz) or 1-2-3-4,1-2 (extended 4/4). Both ways work for me.

 Intro:

Here in the intro there are two guitar fills:
(The ":" mean when the second guitar (panned in the right side) takes over.)

 LYRICS
**********
Rise and shine
You lazy diamond
Now's the time
The time to move on
And re-define
The sound from the silence
I'll shine a light alone

Here I am
Out of the filter
Time to stand
With nobodies shelter
Yeah I will fine
The sound in the silence
I'll shine a light alone

Blame it on my prime time
Blame it on the star shining on me
But I hope you will believe me
When I say
That I am on my way

I can't tell
Where this one is leading
But all is well
If I keep believing
When faces smile
Then I'm on the safe side
I'll shine a light alone

Blame it on my prime time
Blame it on the star shining on me
But I hope you will believe me
When I say
That I am on my way

Hope you will believe me
When I say
That I am on my way
On my way
