(ver. 1)
Thom Yorke
Radiohead/Thom Yorke - Lotus Flower (live)

Drop D Tuning

This is the way Thom Yorke played it live on all those videos weve
but if you find the transition in the verse a little difficult,
the best way to get the change is to go against your instinct
to use your middle finger for the bass note of the first chord
(the 3rd fret of the low E, tuned down to D so your 3rd fret
sounds an F). You want to fret that bass note with your ring finger,
using your middle finger to fret the 2nd fret on G string and your
little finger to fret the 3rd fret on the B string. When you get
to the third on the A string use your ring finger again. Then
when you move up to your next shape, keep your middle finger on
the G string moving up the 4th fret, use your ring finger on
the 5th fret and your index finger for the 2nd and 3rd frets
on that same low E(D) string. Using those finger patterns should help
you get a nice smooth change, its how Thom actually plays it too.

Ive noticed a couple of different videos are around and Thom varied it
a little, as you'd expect. The verse and bridge section doesn't really
change but for the chorus you can generally fingerpick around the chords
ive noted below at your artistic discretion.
