Generator Ukulele

(ver. 1)
The Holloways
The song has two repeated patterns
the first is
|C |F |C |G C |
the second is
|G |G |C |F |

It goes quite fast and I'm strumming syncopated down, up, down for each full bar.

C F
I can get a record player, and a generator,
C G C
and generate the music that makes you feel better.

C
I don't live in poverty,
F C G C
I got a little bit of money and I've got a healthy body.
C F
I'm not going to let stuff get me upset,
C G C
and I wont let all the little things get me depressed.

C F
When I was a young boy, I got a stereo,
      C G C
and taped all the songs straight off the radio.
C F
The sounds that the bands made, and the melodies,
    C G C
was all I needed to make me feel free.

G C F
Sometimes you get so low, you don't know why.
G C F
Or just a little upset all inside.
         G
May I remind you,
                C F
that you don't live in poverty,
               G
you got your youth,
             C F
and you got food in your belly?

C F
I can get a record player, and a generator,
C G C
and generate the music that makes you feel better.

This is my first tab and I'm sure its not perfect but I hope it is useful. This is how I
play along with the acoustic version of the song on the Radio 1 live lounge CD. I am
not sure about the G at all! Lyrics from lyriczz. Props to IndieSounds for his version
that I used until recently.
